We kick off this Explorer theme for real with the Scientist archetype who with her structured approach investigates and dives deep into a topic. Not all researchers are explorers and you can be a scientific explorer without having a formal doctoral degree. It’s all about your mindset and willingness to think for yourself.

I made a visit to Stockholm and the Nobel Center to find out more about some of the greatest scientists.

I met Gustav Källstrand who is an historian of ideas and work at the Nobel Center. I met him at their beautiful office in the center of Stockholm, and we came to about curiosity, ideas, what motivates a scientist and the feeling when you realize you’ve discovered things no one has ever seen before and the importance of intuition.
